Evangelist Pat Robertson warns of hurricanes after Disney's Gay Days
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (June 9, 1998 10:50 p.m. EDT http://www.nando.net) --
Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said Orlando, Fla., should beware of
hurricanes after allowing Gay Days to be held there last weekend.
Robertson also said the widespread practice of homosexuality "will bring
about terrorist bombs, it'll bring earthquakes, tornadoes and possibly a
meteor."
On Monday's "The 700 Club," the Christian Broadcasting Network talk show,
Robertson said: "I would warn Orlando that you're right in the way of some
serious hurricanes, and I don't think I'd be waving those flags in God's
face if I were you."
