    Many downtown stores have been holding pre-holiday sales, displaying
banners offering 20 to 25 percent off.
    But the retailers have been upstaged (so to speak) by the Lusty Lady on
First Avenue.  The marquee at the adult dance club reads: "Clothing 100
percent off."
