readers to help select the 100 "People of the Century." Nominations are
puring in by letter, fax and e-mail and are yielding some surprising
choices.
In the Warriors & Statesmen category, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of
modern Turkey, is narrowly beating Sir Winston Churchill.
In the Builders & TItans category, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk has a commanding
lead over second-place Henry Ford.
Topping the Heroes & Adventurers category: Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The leading nominee among Scientists & Healers? Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Even in Entertainers & Artists, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk tops all other
nominees, including Bob Dylan and Ayn Rand.
