Tickets are now available for the seventh first annual Ig Nobel Prize
Ceremony, to be held the evening of Thursday, October 9 at Harvard's Sanders
Theatre.  This nationally-broadcast evening of scientific silliness always
sells out, so you should buy now; tickets can be bought at the Sanders
Theatre box office (496-2222) in person or by phone.  Groups of 4 to 12 have
the option of applying to attend as official delegations; for more
information on Ig Nobel delegations, see
http://www-math.mit.edu/~propp/igdel .

For those who are unable to get tickets, "The Ig" will be broadcast in a
variety of formats; in addition to the usual hour's worth of highlights
broadcast on the NPR program "Talk of the Nation: Science Friday" at
Thanksgiving time, the show will be livecast on the M-bone, C U See Me, and
(maybe) RealVideo as well.  If you want to set up a viewing party, there'll
soon be info on how to set this up; contact Andrew Pimlott
(pimlott@abel.math.harvard.edu) if you want to receive details when they
become available.

of the Annals of Improbable Research (http://www.improb.com), the principal
sponsor of the Ig.
