Subject: Re: Texas Driver's License Database on the Web
Here and there I've come across the statement that these on-line Texas =
databases have been "withdrawn." I don't think so. I understand the =
car-license-number / owner-name database is down while it's being updated, =
but that should be temporary. Here are a few interesting URLs that still =
work for me:
=
http://www2.publiclink.com/cgi-win/ntxdl.exe/TexasDlGet?000173204&DLNUMBER=3D=
?DLNUMBER=3D000173204
=
http://www2.publiclink.com/cgi-win/ntxdl.exe/TexasDlGet?003619099&DLNUMBER=3D=
?DLNUMBER=3D003619099
=
http://www2.publiclink.com/cgi-win/ntxdl.exe/TexasDlGet?006655384&DLNUMBER=3D=
?DLNUMBER=3D006655384
One of the problems I encountered in trying to think of names of famous =
Texans was that I kept coming up with deceased ones. But that wasn't =
always an insurmountable problem...
=

?DLNUMBER=3D006328661
And here are a few others that might prove interesting (requires Java to =
work right)...

Enjoy,
