Dear Fun_Person,

    I will be giving Fun_People a little vacation from 12/23 through 1/5  
(approximately), so you may want to store up those lengthy items that are  
overflowing your mailbox now for next week, when you'll be missing them...

    If you're going to be on vacation at about the same time then you  
needn't ask me to suspend your subscription while we're both blissfully  
ignoring our e-mail...  Oh yes, and watch out for the huge Christmas Humor  
[?] digest I will post soon...

    Whether you've already celebrated your holidays (Chappy Chanukkah!) or  
are about to celebrate them (A Kewl Yule, a Krazy Kwanzaa, a Solid Solstice,  
a Frantic First, ... man! ... er, I mean, person!) I hope they bring you  
peace and happiness.
