Herb Caen of the S.F. Chronicle received a photo from a traveler in
Brighton, England, as proof that the sumptuous mens' room facilities
at the resort were adorned with a continuous decorative band with the
embossed letters:  BM PP BM PP BM PP, etc.  An inquiry revealed that the
letters stand for Brighton Municipal Palace Pier.
