Friday I went to "Ruby Montana's Pinto Pony" to buy a set of red
chilipepper lights for a friend. Ruby's, as you probably know, specializes
in Silly Stuff like chili lights, Elvis paraphernalia, kitchy pin-up
postcards and such. They were sold out, though, and the friendly
saleswoman said, "The Promise Keepers were here this weekend, and they
wiped us out!"  What kind of things did they buy, asks I.  "Oh, all the
nasty stuff they can't shop for back home!"
