Subject:      The House has passed the Telecom Reform bill.

        The House of Representatives minutes ago overwhelming passed the
telecom reform bill by 414-16.  It now goes to the Senate.  The bill now
prohibits discussion of abortion on the Internet.

[Now it has passed the Senate, too...  95 to 4 or so...  Even Dole's caution  
that this bill includes a huge handout to big business (broadcast networks)  
seems to have fallen on deaf ears.  And Clinton already said that he will sign  
it... -psl]
