One of the pleasures of being a lip reader is that you get to see things
that others miss.  For example: Last night during the state of the union
address, as Clinton was tossing one of his zingers at the Congressional
Republicans, the pool camera came in close on the chairman of a House
committee that is much in the news these days, in time to see him mouth the
word "bastard."

[I'm afraid you didn't need to be a lip reader to catch that one...  -psl]
