I was checking out the "Dalton Brothers" (notorious, perhaps famous post
civil war bank robbers) in my turn of the century encyclopedia and
discovered two new (to me) things about color blindness.
"Daltonism" is a defunct medical name for a type of red/green color
blindness that affected all the Dalton brothers. I suppose their banking
careers might have been truncated had the trick of dying stolen money red
been thought of in time.
Following the paper Hyperlink to "Color Blindness", I found that intensive
tobacco smoking induces temporary color blindness. Anyone - *cough* - care
to try out this experiment?
