[WFMU is an independent radio station in the NYC area (it used to be run by
Upsala College, but that's another story). One of their "Worst of..." series
inspired my recording of two voice synthesizers singing a Nancy Sinatra song
(check out http://www.empire.net/psl-bin/SVM.cgi). -psl]

For music lovers everywhere, be sure to check out the WFMU Catalog of
Curiosities. This radio station offers famous gems, such as William
Shatmer's CD of covers, e.g. "It was a very good year" and "Lucy in the sky
with diamonds." Where else can you get Ima Sumac records? There's also
some really fine new but oddball CDs, including the Beau Hunks Play the
Original Little Rascals Music, and some anthologies of obscure musicians
worth paying attention to, such as Roy Smeck.
