[The BLIT terminal is an early 80's predecessor of the diskless
workstation. Some years ago I borrowed a surplus one from the
department, but as a part of moving on I brought it back. The
e-mail exchange with our department's keep-track-of-it guy was

I'm sure this will be the pinnacle of your life experiences -- I
finally want to return the BLIT terminal I've had these many years.
You probably don't have anywhere that you want it, but if I put it
someplace, where's the place that will get me in the least trouble ?^)

Perch it precariously on the inner edge of Drumheller's Fountain.
Eventually, the air turbulence created by a squadron of Canadian geese
taking off or landing will result in the blit being disposed of with
the proper pomp and circumference.
On 2nd thought, just drop it off on the floor outside room 2 in the
Sieg dungeon [...]
