Coeur d'Alene, Idaho:
A 23-year-old Post Falls woman charged with fraudulently obtaining
prescription drugs contends that one of her 3,817 personalities is actually
the responsible party.
Nichol Chastain is being held in the Kootenai County Jail on $5,000 bond
following her arrest last Wednesday. In the past two months, she visited
nine doctors in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, seeking morphine because of what
she said was an inoperable brain tumor, police records show.
Six doctors prescribed the drug without looking at her medical records.
But another physician became suspicious and called police.
Chastain blamed "Nikki," one of her personalities.

They are still so politically correct AND nutritionally sound.
Barnum's Animal Crackers is still offering an "Endangered Collection" until
August 13. The summer menagerie features 16 endangered animals, including

mountain zebra.

top. (If you wondered why the box has a string: It was originally designed
as a Christmas ornament.)
Nabisco donates 5 cents per box purchased to the World Wildlife Fund to help
save animals and their habitats. So far, the company is halfway to the goal
of $100,000.
Nabisco's spokeswoman, Ann Smith, says sales of the crackers may represent
the strongest sales period in Barnum's 93-year history. It's also the first
time Barnum's has used all new animals shapes at one time.
