_the register_ is running a funny story about (apparently) joachim kempin,
the MS exec in charge of OEM issues, having a run-in with The Man.[1] they
may also have found evidence that some unseen force may be diddling the
content of the MSNBC site: a search on 'kempin'[2] turned up a link to the
17 dec story 'MS exec cited for hunting from car'[3] as #1, but the link
returns a 404. _the reg_ asks:

What was the lad shooting at (allegedly)? Was the car moving? Is it
usual for MSNBC to expire stories so quickly? What does Joachim keep
in his pockets when negotiating with hardware OEMs, and had they been
under the impression he was just pleased to see them?
