     "A street magician has buried himself in a six-foot-by-two-
      foot glass coffin - or as we refer to it here in Manhattan,
      a studio apartment."
                                  - David Letterman

                               &&&&&&&&&&

First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton's application to purchase a New York City
apartment was turned down by the co-op's board, because, in the words of
one local real estate broker, quote: "She would cause more commotion than
Madonna."
... Later, President Clinton stepping in to defend the First Lady,
called the characterization ridiculous and then added, "And I would know."
... Now, folks, let's think about that for a moment-- if that were
true, do you really think Bill would be looking elsewhere?
(Steve Voldseth)

This Thursday is Earth Day.......
And to celebrate, NATO plans to blow another hole in it.
This Thursday is Earth Day.......
Or as Al Gore calls it: "The day I invented the Earth."
(Bill Williams)
