The journalist was passing through town and saw a wizened, wrinkled,
and frail looking man rocking slowly on the front porch. She went up to
him and asked him the secret of his longevity.
"Well, I spent every night carousing, back when I had the strength; I
still smoke three packs a day, and I drink a case and a half of whiskey
a week." "That's amazing!" exclaimed the journalist. "And how old are you
now?" "Next May I'll be twenty-six." he replied.
