[Savvy Fun_People have known the Neiman-Marcus Cookie Recipe urban legend
 since at least 1994
	<http://www.empire.net/~psl/Fun_People/1994/1994AGH.html>
(NOTE: The Fun_People archive moved in September 1998 to:
But, in the following tidbit from the Internet Tourbus, we discover that
Neiman-Marcus has finally realized the obvious way to foil the story...
 "shop the legend" indeed!

MMM ... COOKIES!
-----------------

It never fails. Every year in my Thanksgiving Spam post I tell everyone
that my cookies are much better than the fake Neiman Marcus cookies, and
every year I get a _BUNCH_ of mail saying that the fake cookies are quite
yummy, thank you. Well, you decide for yourself.

Thanks to the help of Phil in Chicago, I am happy to announce that Neiman
Marcus has actually put the fake cookie recipe on their company's homepage.
You can find the story behind the fake cookie recipe at

     http://www.neimanmarcus.com/custserv/cookie.htm

and the fake cookie recipe itself is on the Web at

     http://www.neimanmarcus.com/custserv/recipe.htm

By the way, my far superior, WORLD FAMOUS chocolate chip cookie recipe can
be found at

    http://www.brigadoon.com/~crispen/cookie.html

And trust me, my recipe is better. :P
