The BBC World Service mentioned the other night that
Bishop Usher theorized the world was made on Oct. 23, 4004 BC, that therefore
(according to Usher) the world is 6000 years old TODAY, and that (also
according to Usher -- this I'd not heard before), the life expectancy of the
world is 6000 years.
Now therefore if you need an excuse for a libation tonight . . .
