UTAH PHILLIPS NEEDS OUR SOLIDARITY
Fellow Worker Utah Phillips, Wobbly folk singer, our best
publicizer for the last several decades, and a solid friend of the
working class, is down on his luck. He has congestive heart
failure and can no longer do public performances. While he has
some prospects for a syndicated radio show and future recordings,
at present he has no income. IWW General Headquarters is setting up
a Utah Phillips Solidarity Fund. Send whatever you can to help out
our Fellow Worker to IWW, 103 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, MI,
48197, U.S.A. We'll record your donations in the IWW General
Organization Bulletin and the Industrial Worker newspaper and send
all of the money and any messages on to Utah. Make checks payable
to Utah Phillips. It's a chance to show our appreciation and
solidarity for the finest kind of Wobbly.
